Q. When is the BASIC Package best used?
When a client needs a simple, professional looking web presence, this plan will normally fulfill their needs. There are 100 Templates which provide a number of different design layouts and are changeable as to color, image, title and tag line. This package typically has a Home, About Us and a Contact Us page with a contact form. Additional pages are available at $50.00 ea.
Q. What if you need a more functional website?
If your client needs a true business website that can deliver a good ROI and will allow for future growth of their web business, then the PREMIUM Package is the plan to use. With this plan, your client will own the website software and all content and after one year can move to a hosting service of their choice if they desire. They will have the benefit of a custom designed concept developed exclusively for their unique look, and Accessibility standards are built-in along with Search engine friendliness. The website content can be modified, added to and deleted by logging into the easy to use content editor. Unlimited pages can be added at no additional cost. The client can have hundreds of pages if needed.
Q. What are the differences between the PREMIUM and COMPLETE Packages?
The PREMIUM Package is a full business website plan with a large array of optional modules available to create a truly professional website. The COMPLETE Package is the PREMIUM with the addition of the E-Commerce module and seven other frequently used modules for a savings of $1,425.00.
Q. What is Hosting and why do I need it?
Hosting is a service that all websites need in order to function properly and to be seen on the internet. Basically, a server stores the website files containing all website graphics and functions. When the Uniform Resource Locator (URL or site address) is typed into a browser, the user is directed to the hosting account for that URL and the website appears.
All websites must have a hosting account and the annual cost of the hosting is in addition to the cost of the website.
Q. When is a service plan appropriate?
If your client has purchased a BASIC Package, and the website has been completed, all future revisions to that website are billed to the client at the rate of $75.00/hour for content changes. Revisions to the website infrastructure are made at no charge while a service plan is in effect. A service plan will provide discounted hourly rates ($65.00) for the chosen number of hours selected. Hours must be used within the month and there is no carryover. This is a prepaid monthly plan.
If the PREMIUM or COMPLETE package is purchased and the client does not wish to make their changes to their website using the Content Management System (CMS), then Synergy Internet Solutions will make the changes for them under the selected service plan. Hours of work performed over the allotted service plan hours are billed at the standard hourly rate of $75.00/hour. Revisions to the website infrastructure are made at no charge while a service plan is in effect.
Q. What is the difference between content changes and design concept changes?
Content changes are the text, images and hyperlinks on each website page and are billed at $75.00/hour without a service plan. Design concept changes are changes made to the graphic look of the website and are billed at $110.00/hour.
